Based on the scientific premise that depression is caused by a chemical (neurotransmitter) imbalance in the brain, Vaibs work to help reduce feelings of depression and sadness on a physiological level, through the practice of yoga asanas and pranayama, which release "feel good" neurotransmitters in the brain such as dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin and endorphins. Vaibs also tackles depression on a psychological level, through gaining insight into the power of meditation and gratitude using:
